Irací Maria dos Santos, a Brazilian maid currently working and living in Miami, is one of the 1.1 million Brazilians, estimated by the United States government, who came to this country in search of the “American dream.”

Viter Juste, called “The Father of Little Haiti” in the Haitian community, moved his family to Miami, many Haitians in New York followed suit.

Ernesto Ackerman works with Independent Venezuelan-American Citizens and “Clinica Venamher” to help acclimate Venezuelan immigrants to life in Miami and the United States.
